Luxury townhomes have hit the market in the new CBD, opening the door for the first residents of the major development to secure their spot.
Habitat Development Group has released for sale six small office, home office townhomes in the Market Lane Residences project within the Maroochydore city centre.
The homes are a modern take on the fish and chip shop home/business, with a small retail space on the ground floor and a unit or townhouse above.
Director Cleighton Clark said the innovative approach to a work-home life balance had generated a lot of interest.

“The idea of living in a spacious 220sq m home while operating your own business on the ground floor has strong appeal, particularly to those who will benefit from easy access to the many other businesses operating in the new CBD,” he said.
“We’ve already sold one of the six townhomes and there’s been a lot of interest from a variety of professional services firms such as bookkeepers, accountants, legal professionals and planners as well as allied health professionals.”
Designed by K Architecture, each of the apartments include four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms over three levels, including a 19sq m balcony on level two.
Dual access from the street or rear of the property is available, while each townhome has access to two secure basement car parks.
“This is a unique opportunity to buy a family size home within the Maroochydore CBD and we understand it’s unlikely to be repeated again,” Mr Clark said.
“There’s so much going on at the moment with Foundation Place sitting at over 80 per cent committed with new tenants moving in on a daily basis and council’s City Hall building due for completion in mid-2022.”
The CBD’s first dedicated coffee house Colombian Coffee Co and Asian fusion restaurant Giddy Geisha recently opened.
