The Sunshine Coast’s annual wet-season resulted in continued heavy rainfall temporarily slowing activity on site
during March/April, however the Habitat Construction team are still on target for a mid Q2 2022 completion.
Like the rest of the Sunshine Coast property market, apartments at Parkwoods have been selling quickly with all
of the project now under contract, thanks to significant levels of buyer enquiry over the past 2 months.
Below are some images of progress so far and the main milestones of interest:
– The erection of the perimeter scaffolding has started. This scaffolding will encompass the whole building and will
continue to go up floor by floor in line with build progress.
– Foundation retaining walls and carpark footings have been poured. These form the bulk of the in-ground works
ahead of seeing the structure start to go up.
– The concrete for the tower crane base has been poured and the crane is booked in for erection on the 4th June.
– The target for the pouring of the ground level concrete slab is set for late June. We are expecting to see the
building
go up quite quickly from here, with a new floor being poured every 3-4 weeks.
